Behaviour management systems Working abroad

Has anyone on this forum ever taught abroad? If so, I would like to know about your experience with the behaviour management systems in place in Europe and Scandinavia. I have applied for jobs in Italy and Sweden and it would be useful to know what policies are put in place in these countries? Are we just at the leading edge of research into behaviour management or are these countries way ahead in their research and ways of dealing with behaviour issues?
